Description

The art is gorgeous, the characters likable, the jokes land. My only complaint is that it ends way too soon, I want to see more of their life together. Especially since we got a little BL tease at the end.

Misunderstandings are a cheap way to create tension and imply conflict

This had the potential to be cute but having the whole premise built around a misunderstanding that only gets revealed at the tail end makes it bad. Using a misunderstanding is a cheap way to create drama without actually having a conflict or stakes. Any series based on that just isn't fun for me.

I love the GL genre but to often authors and editors feel the need to add outside conflict just for added tension. Let's us enjoy a simple story of two people falling in love and how bittersweet and pure it can be.

It's straight to the core and then slowly growing.
There are no serious complicated conflict either.
But i enjoy it, because of the art and how the good the scenes.

I love this manga so much. I hope it gets a sequel. whether its about Kanda and Ooguma's relationship later on in life, or of
Spoiler (mouse over to view)
Shiba and Kanda's brother. but maybe that ending (Shiba meeting and sort of falling in love with Kanda's bro) is kinda like those where you already know whats gonna happen next, like history repeats itself yknow?

im a bit picky when it comes to this genre (GL) and I've only got a few of them on my list (like maybe less than 10) but this became my instant favorite!!!!
I love those two!!! Their relationship and interactions are cute and wholesome..
Although the starting point of their relationship started half-heartedly.. The way they develop and connect with each other is just so sweet and relatable!!
