Some of you may remember an early post in the first year of the blog where I went to The Plaza to get an eyewear consultation by the lovely Sue Randhawa from The Optical Boutique in Vancouver. A photo that was taken of the two of us at that time was one of the most liked.
I was so happy to meet with Sue again for another consult when Calvin and I were in Seattle this summer. I have had so many compliments both in the real and in the virtual world, on a pair of eyeglasses Sue picked from the modern and cool line at Anne et Valentin (she even got me to add some color to my black!).

As a perscription glasses wearer I love interesting glasses. Can’t understand why so many people wear dull ones when there are so many lovely styles on offer.

Patty Pailette designs and creates an incredible line of hand made Italian frames. They are stunning.

I am turning 64 and my hardship story ( Since 1990 is only worth telling U privately!
I am a “ Me too survivor”
Survivor of my sister dying after being in a coma for four month starting w / heart failure Dec.5’06 .
But 2012 “WE”
survivor of a daughter whose
“Earth & Heavenly Angels “saved her from an horrific accident. At the same time I found my 57 yr old husband in bed w/ 35 year old!!
But in 2007/ 2008
After a move ; a marriage ; I had breast cancer chemo I survived.

Robert R. Loss friends when he first waved people from his long dirt road to come see his movies ( they thought him he was & his ideas were crazy).
He spoke not only to Dale , his class but to me as well!
It takes one person to step out of the forest to make a change!

I have searched for ever for stylish glasses and find none in the stores here in the midwest
